YoJo Heads West!

With nearly 2,500 performances since March of 2000, The YoJo Show has seen a successful decade of growth.  But soon, YoJo will take his first big step to a more nationwide audience as plans are in development to create YoJo's first satellite troupe in the Midwest U.S.

'YoJo Midwest' will be based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and will bring all of YoJo's energetic assembly programs to elementary schools in the Mount Rushmore state and the surrounding area.

Nate Welch, is the owner of N.A.T.E.Co and will have the license to produce YoJo's programs in the Midwest territory.  Welch is a former television reporter for Sioux Falls' ABC and NBC stations, and was also the University of Nebraska's mascot while attending college.

Earlier this year, Welch received his training at YoJo's headquarters outside of Baltimore, Maryland and performed over 30 assemblies.  "Bringing YoJo and his shows to my hometown is going to be wonderful experience for the schools in this region.  These students are going have a blast and teachers will be amazed what impact these programs have."

YoJo Midwest plans to be ready for performances in the 2011-2012 school year, but assembly bookings can be arranged now.   If you would like to have YoJo come to your school in this area, send Nate Welch an e-mail at natewelch30@gmail.com and he'll get in contact with you.
