Subject: Anti-Bullying

Age / Grade Level: All elementary grades **
** The content and style of this program better
serves children above the level of kindergarten, but we now offer a special "primary" version of BULLY NO MORE when performing exclusively for lower elementary grades.

Program Length: Approx. 45 min.

Key Messages: Bullying is wrong.  Bullying should not be tolerated, and bullies, bully targets, and those who are witnesses to bullying need to take care of their situations appropriately.

Synopsis: YoJo now has a bullying problem.  The problem is that YoJo’s the bully!  In fact, YoJo initially uses bully tactics just to get laughs from others.

But when YoJo realizes how frightening and harmful bullying can be, he learns how unfunny and “uncool” being a bully really is.

YoJo and the show’s host then review lots of important things for kids to do if you are being bullied, if you are a bully, or if you are a witness to someone else being bullied.  These include …

  • Standing up to those who bully (when it is safe.)

  • NOT making things worse by bullying back a bully, and NOT losing your cool in a bullying situation.

  • Supporting those who are targets of bullying, and NOT supporting the bully behavior.

  • Always talking to an adult about it.

The program concludes when YoJo sees an audience volunteer being put in a mock bullying situation.  YoJo responds by putting his arm around the victim, taking him/her out of the situation, and getting him/her involved in a friendly activity.

Great For: Teaching a serious life lesson, but in a very positive and upbeat manner.

The show also features a large screen video board to stress the important lessons, as well as many fun surprises, too.

And just like our other shows ...

The BULLY NO MORE assembly also includes a half-dozen free 11"x17" color posters as a special gift to your school or organization!
